LVPO (pronounced LUPO and meaning “wolf” in Trojan!) has
been part of Soho’s bar scene since 1995. It has recently been acquired
by the Soho Bars Group, and been given a substantial face-lift both inside
and out. The owners, Soho Clubs and Bars have built on LVPO’s already established reputation and created not only it's fabulous new look but have also enhanced the cocktail and food menus. LVPO has retained its loyal crowd but with the improvements has also attracted some new groups – a mix of media, fashion, and the West End’s theatre crowd – creating a wonderfully eclectic mix – another welcome addition to Soho's bar scene! Large windows on both sides (Dean and Romilly Street) mean that the interior is well lit by natural light during the day. When dusk falls, candles and chandeliers light up the venue giving it a mystical and inviting appearance. Deep shades of maroon and purple cover the furniture and the banquettes are long, spacious and comfortable - a welcome relief to overcrowded bars where it’s impossible to find a seat! |
